17 August 2010 07:04
The Daily Mirror reports that Jermaine Jenas is poised to join Juventus on a season-long loan, paving the way for a £10 million move.

The Spurs and England midfielder is reportedly keen for a move away from White Hart Lane, where he has fallen out of favour with Harry Redknapp.

If Jenas leaves, Harry Redknapp will look for an immediate replacement - with Manchester City's Stephen Ireland among his potential targets.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are expected to seal a £2.3m deal for Middlesborough's goalkeeper Brad Jones today - according to the Daily Mail.

Jones passed a medical yesterday and the Australia international will be seen as ideal back-up for Jose Reina.

Craig Bellamy's future is still not clear. Some sources report he will join Cardiff before the end of the week on loan, but Tottenham and Fulham remain in pursuit and Bellamy is yet to announce his intentions.

Manchester City have told him to return to training, but are reportedly not keen on Bellamy leaving to join a Premier League rival.
