Barcelona look set to end their interest in Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas, instead turning their attention to another of the Premier League's most highly-rated stars.

Gareth Bale has been linked with a number of Europe's biggest clubs in recent months, particularly after his outstanding displays against Inter Milan in the Champions League. Now it seems Barca will make their move for the Welshman this summer.

Tottenham do not want to sell the former Southampton left-back but could be tempted to cash-in if the Spaniards make a ridiculous offer when the window reopens.

West Ham have also been credited with an interest in the prolific forward.
