Tottenham's Gareth Bale has Inter Milan goals animated - VIDEO

The way Gareth Bale terrorised Maicon in Tottenham's two epic Champions League encounters with Inter Milan earlier this season, the Brazilian could be forgiven he was up against a cartoon superhero. [LNB]But that is what Bale has now become, thanks to animator Richard Swarbrick, who has produced a two-minute hand-drawn film in homage to the Wales winger's heroics.[LNB] Bale netted a brilliant hat-trick in a losing cause when Spurs were edged out in an extraordinary 4-3 defeat in the San Siro in September, and two weeks later inspired a 3-1 win that will live long in the memory of the White Hart Lane faithful. [LNB] Can you guess who it is yet? Tottenham's Inter destroyer Bale[LNB]The 21-year-old left Maicon, widely considered the finest right-back in the game, trailing in his wake as he flew down the left wing to set up two of Tottenham's goals that night. [LNB] Swarbrick's masterpiece was created by hand, is set to classical music and commentary from the games, and took 35 hours to complete. [LNB]Bale's remarkable season in the Champions League has since reached new heights with Spurs' progress past AC Milan, Inter's city rivals, and into the quarter-finals of the competition. [LNB] Back of the net: A still shot of one of Bale's goals in the San Siro[LNB]The midfielder was only able to feature as a second-half substitute during Wednesday's famous 0-0 second-leg draw with the Rossoneri due to his recovery from a back problem, but should be fit for the next stage.[LNB] And if Bale can somehow inspire Tottenham to the final at Wembley in May, Swarbrick may soon be picking up the pencils again. [LNB]But Bale is already guaranteed a place in Spurs' folklore whatever the result of their quarter-final - win, lose or draw.
