Tottenham's David Bentley nudges Harry Redknapp with brace against Arsenal

Bentley struck a stunning goal for Tottenham's first-team in only Redknapp's second game in charge in a memorable 4-4 draw at the Emirates Stadium in October. [LNB]But the £15 million winger has not started a Premier League game siince late January and Redknapp had warned that he had to put players, however high-profile, in the reserves, not as punishment but for match-fitness. [LNB]Redknapp admitted that fielding players in the reserves was difficult, saying; 'That's always a problem now. People don't want to play in the reserves. I don't play people in the reserves to punish them, I never do that. If the reserves are playing up north I don't send them. [LNB]'I treat the senior players with respect; I only play them because they need a game. The only way to get fit is to play games and if you're not playing games, even with all the training in the world, you'll be short of match fitness.'
