HULL CITY boss Phil Brown believes Tottenham will finish in the top four after seeing his side go down 5-1 to a rampant Spurs at the KC Stadium. A Jermain Defoe hat-trick, as well as goals from Wilson Palacios and Robbie Keane saw Tottenham run out comfortable winners and maintain their winning start to the season. It is only the second time in 14 years that the north Londoners have won their first two games and speaking after the Premier League clash, Brown reckons Spurs have the quality to finish among the ‘big four’ this season. "From a neutral's point of view you have probably seen a team in the top four this season, no doubt,” said the Hull boss. "We didn't apply ourselves from minute one or get close enough to Tottenham to keep ourselves in the game. "I thought there was a gulf between the two teams in terms of class, quality and the performance." Brown added: "Every player on the field of play for Tottenham was outstanding. That's one of the best performances I have seen in the Premier League."
