Tottenham want clean sheet against Newcastle as they chase home record

Their best record in the top division came in the 1971-72 campaign, when they kept it down to 13, while their all-time best home record came in their seventh season as a League club, when they won Second Division by conceding only 11, in the 1919-20 season.[LNB]Spurs maintained their impressive record last weekend when they beat West Ham 1-0 at home and Ledley King, the central defender, believes his side have to take advantage and start scoring more goals.[LNB]"As a defender you want to keep clean sheets and we've done well this season," said King. "We've not conceded many goals at home and we know if we keep a clean sheet we'll have a great chance of winning.[LNB]"With the players we have, we're always going to create chances and that was the case against West Ham.[LNB]"In the first half it was a little too open, they looked dangerous on the counter and that was their best chance of scoring, so we had to tighten up in the second half.
