Tottenham target Steven Pienaar insists Everton need to buy new players

Star man: Pienaar in action against Wigan earlier this month[LNB]Steven Pienaar has warned Everton that they need to make greater investment in players, or face the prospect of players leaving.[LNB]Pienaar's future itself has been the subject of speculation, with Tottenham lining up a January move for the player.[LNB]David Moyes' side are currently 15th in the table after a run ofseven matches without a victory, having won just three times all season.[LNB]The Toffees have finished in the top 10 six times in the last eightseasons but only once - in 2005 - did they make it into the top four.[LNB]Moyes has never had as much to spend on his squad as many of histop-flight rivals but Pienaar hopes that will be able to change in thefuture.[LNB]'I think the quality is here at the club,' said the28-year-old.
