According to the Independent[LNB], Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez is weighing up Spurs' offer, which could also include Jermaine Jenas if Lennon is not seen to be a worthwhile signing.[LNB]Reports suggest that Spurs manager Harry Redknapp would be willing to let one of his two young England internationals leave in return for brining Keane back to White Hart Lane.[LNB]Keane, 28, cost Liverpool around £20.3 million when he moved to Anfield in the summer. However, he has so far failed to make an impact, only sporadically showing glimpses of his goalscoring talent.[LNB]If Keane went back to Tottenham, the Independent claims that Liverpool would not have to pay the remaining balance of his £20.3m transfer, thought to be around £11m.[LNB]Benitez has so far been evasive as to whether he would allow Keane to leave. When asked if he would be willing to sell the Republic of Ireland forward, Benitez simply replied: "I want to see him scoring goals."[LNB]And when it was put to him that if speculation surrounded Fernando Torres he would quickly dismiss it, in reference to the fact he is yet to do the same with Keane, Benitez said: "I don't have that problem so don't need to."[LNB]Should Redknapp fail to land Keane within the next few days, he will swiftly turn his attentions to Lyon striker Fred.[LNB]The Brazilian striker - full name Frederico Chaves Guedes - is out of contract in the summer and would be available for a cut-price fee.[LNB]
