Tottenham revive interest in Pletikosa as Harry looks for new goalkeeper

Croatia goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa is reportedly in London to seal a loan move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The 30-year-old Spartak Moscow player was set to sign for Spurs in the summer transfer window only for a knee injury to scupper the deal.

Pletikosa is unlikely to fully recover until February, but Harry Redknapp is still keen to sign him up for the rest of the season, according to reports in Croatia.

It is said that Pletikosa and his agent have travelled to England to give Spurs updates on his condition.

Earlier this month, he said: 'I have indications that Redknapp hasn't given up on signing me, which gives me something to look forward to. You don't know how much it gives me extra motivation to recover as soon as possible.'
