Tottenham launch £11m bid for Sheffield United duo Kyle Naughton and Kyle Walker

A deal for Naughton to move to Goodison Park this summer is thought to have been agreed last week, but United are now reported to have backed out in favour of Tottenham's offer which would see Naughton leave immediately and Walker loaned back to them for the 2009/10 season. According to the Mirror, Everton had been assured that Naughton would travel to Merseyside to undergo a medical when he returned from United's trip to Malta.
