Gomes was signed by Tottenham last summer for a fee of around £8 million but has endured a disjointed career at White Hart Lane and Redknapp remains unconvinced of his quality.[LNB]Tottenham would be prepared to take the loss but any deals rests upon their ability to attract either of the Newcastle United goalkeepers.[LNB]Redknapp has been linked with any number of goalkeepers during a busy transfer window for the club, but has yet to have any positive feedback.[LNB]The manager insists he is 'nowhere near' to signing Chelsea's Carlo Cudicini after allowing Spanish veteran Cesar Sanchez to join Valencia.[LNB]Cudicini would improve Tottenham but Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has proven unwilling to listen to offers and the wages of the 35-year-old Italian might be prohibitive. [LNB]'I'm nowhere near to signing Cudicini,' Redknapp said. 'We're looking for another good goalkeeper.'[LNB]Redknapp admitted he had little faith in Cesar, with Gomes playing despite carrying an injury recently.[LNB]Valencia have confirmed the 37-year-old goalkeeper has completed his move after completing a medical.[LNB]Cesar, formerly on the books of Valladolid and Real Madrid, joined Spurs from Real Zaragoza last summer but found his chances limited.[LNB]Meanwhile, Redknapp is also looking for another striker and has been linked with Carlton Cole, but added: 'I'm sure West Ham would not want to sell him so that is an absolute non-goer.'[LNB]
