Harry Redknapp isplanning to raid theJanuary transfermarket for thereinforcements hebelieves can inspire Tottenhamto their first title for 50 years. [LNB]Spurs came back from two down towin 3-2 at Arsenal on Saturday and, with their rivals faltering, Redknappadmits they may never have a betterchance to become champions of theBarclays Premier League. [LNB]The manager wants to'tweak' his squad in January and is already exploring the possibilityof loaning Karim Benzema fromReal Madrid.[LNB] Possible target: Real Madrid and France striker Karim Benzema is attracting Harry Redknapp[LNB]He will also test West Ham's resolvewith another bid for Scott Parker, chase a new central defender and he isprepared to offer Niko Kranjcar inpart exchange for unsettledLiverpool full back Glen Johnson. [LNB]Any new recruits would have to beincorporated within the PremierLeague's 25-man squad rule, somoving out players like Kranjcar,Robbie Keane and David Bentley is important. [LNB]West Ham like Keane andFulham are interested in Bentley. [LNB]'I am looking to bring people in,'said Redknapp. [LNB]'We need to tweak itto finish it off. I think Tottenham havea championship in them in the nextfew years. Just because they haven'tfor a while, it doesn't mean thatChelsea, Man United, Arsenal orLiverpool will carry on winning it. [LNB] Big spender: Harry Redknapp will look to strengthen his squad in January[LNB] 'Why can't someone else win it? It'sthe most open season ever. When Sunderland can go to Chelseaand win, it shows you that anyone canbeat anyone. Man City will eventuallywin the championship, I'm quite sureof that, but there's no reason whyTottenham can't be challenging. [LNB]'I'll even put myself under pressureby saying that. You've got top, topplayers here Luka Modric, Rafaelvan der Vaart, Gareth Bale andthere's no reason why we can't go onand achieve something.' [LNB]Target: Redknapp is a fan of Scott Parker[LNB]Helping the club's drive to the nextlevel is a new winning mentality, whichRedknapp attributes to the win atManchester City to clinch a top-fourfinish at the end of last season.[LNB]'It was a big step forward,' said themanager, who tore into Gareth Baleat Arsenal for shaking hands with an opponent after a 'diabolical' foul. [LNB]'Igot the right hump with him. Whatare we, the nice guys or something?Let's go out there and compete.' [LNB]Jermaine Jenas said that in morethan five years at Spurs this was thefirst time he had travelled to theEmirates 'believing we could win'.[LNB]The win over Inter Milan in theChampions League helped the psychologicalprogress but the summersignings of Van der Vaart and WilliamGallas also had a significant impact.Although they are yet to appear atpeak fitness, they have added knowhowto the team. [LNB]Gallas thrived amidthe jeers at his former club, while Vander Vaart spent much of the gameambling around like the primecandidate to be substituted, yet hada hand in every Spurs goal. [LNB]The development of Modric andBale means Tottenham suddenlyboast players who are the envy ofEurope's biggest clubs, while theirsquad has genuine depth.[LNB]Jermain Defoe's introduction at half-time swung the game. It wasrisky because it meant Van der Vaartdropped on to the right of midfield where he provided no defensive cover but it worked for Redknapp. [LNB]'To Dare is to Do,' as they say atSpurs. Champions? Maybe it isn'tsuch a crazy idea.[LNB] As Tottenham win derby, have Arsenal really got what it takes to win title?Wenger fury as Arsenal lose at home to Spurs for first time in 17 yearsIn Spurs I trust!
