Tottenham eye Maynor Figueroa move

The left-back has suddenly shot into the public eye following his 60-yard free-kick for Wigan against Stoke City on Saturday.

The Honduras international is now being watched closely by a host of Premier League managers, including Harry Redknapp.

Redknapp is also reportedly considering a swoop for Valencia striker Nikola Zigic as he bids to strengthen his forward line.

Roman Pavlyuchenko is a favourite to leave in January, while Robbie Keane has been linked with a move to Celtic.

Zigic will certainly bring a physical presence to the Tottenham attack. At 6ft 8in, he is taller then Peter Crouch.

Meanwhile, the Sun have linked Spurs with Chile striker Humberto Suazo. The 28-year-old plays for Mexcian club Monterrey.

Monterrey president Jorge Urdiales said: "We will listen to and discuss any offers we receive from Europe."
