Tottenham eye deal for Espanyol playmaker Javi Marquez

Wanted: Javi Marquez (left) in action for Espanyol [LNB]Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is in the hunt for Espanyol playmaker Javi Marquez, according to Spanish newspaper AS.[LNB]White Hart Lane officials are set to visit Spain next week to negotiate a deal to bring the diminutive star to north London, the paper claims.  [LNB]Marquez, who can play centrally, out wide or just behind the front men, is one of Espanyol's most important players but his season was ended prematurely after suffering a broken leg in March.
