Tottenham enter the hunt to prise Braafheid away from McClaren's Twente
Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race to sign FC Twente full-back Edson Braafheid.
The Holland international has been outstanding for Steve McClaren's team this season with Ajax and Schalke also the defender's situation.

Braafheid 's contract with Twente has another year to run and McClaren hopes he will sign a new deal this summer.
But the prospect of playing in the Barclays Premier League against some of the best sides in Europe would be a big incentive for Braafheid.
