Tottenham boss Redknapp is winning the £11m battle to sign Palermo's Kjaer

Tottenham have moved closer to sealing the biggest deal of the January transfer window by holding direct talks with Palermo about £11million defender Simon Kjaer. [LNB]The Italian club's sporting director Walter Sabatini was in London on Saturday to meet Spurs officials, who have fought off tough competition from Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool to get their man.
