Tottenham are giving a trial to Honduras international defender Osman Chavez as Harry Redknapp looks to boost his options at the back. Chavez, 25, flew into London on Sunday and will spend the week trying to impress Redknapp who has problems at centre back with Jonathan Woodgate and Michael Dawson out injured and Ledley King's appearances restricted by his chronic knee complaint. Chavez, who currently plays Honduran side Platense and has over 20 caps for his country, comes highly recommend by his international team-mate Wilson Palacios. Discussing a potential move to Spurs, Chavez said: 'Wilson has helped me a lot with his recommendation and having his support in the training sessions will be important.'
