Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp's message to his side was crystal clear last night: Let's do this all again next season.[LNB] Heurelho Gomes' mistake was hardly a fitting end to the club's breathtaking season amongst Europe's elite that included victories over both Milan clubs.[LNB] Good to talk: Rival managers Jose Mourinho and Harry Redknapp on the touchline during the Champions League tie[LNB] But Redknapp said: 'We want to be here again, we've always had the desire to qualify for the competition next year.[LNB] 'It'll be tough, you only have to look at other teams trying to qualify. Manchester City finished a couple of points behind and spent ?150m.[LNB] 'Chelsea spent ?75m on two players on deadline because they were struggling to make it. It's tough to do but we have to keep trying.[LNB] 'The goal was disappointing but the keeper's been great and made saves he had no right to save this season.'[LNB]He added: 'We've got to be up there every year. We should be.[LNB]'If we can make the top four again, it would be a great achievement.[LNB]'It will be even harder this year than it was last year because of the improvement Man City have made.[LNB]'I still think we've got a big chance. We've got tough games.[LNB] Nightmare: Heurelho Gomes drops the ball into the net to gift Real the only goal of the game[LNB]'We've got Arsenal here next week, then we've got Chelsea, we've got to go to Man City.[LNB]'But they're great games to look forward to and it's good to be in there playing these games and having something to play for still.[LNB]'It's better than sitting 12th in the league.[LNB]'It's got the makings of a good end of season again.'[LNB]When quizzed on who will go all the way in the Champions League, Redknapp revealed his admiration for Barcelona, he said: 'Barcelona for me look the best team I've seen in about 25-30 years.[LNB]'I must say when I see Barcelona play, I think they are amazing.'[LNB]But he refused to rule out Jose Mourinho's side and also talked up Manchester United's chances of winning a third Champions League trophy in 12 years at Wembley.[LNB]Redknapp added: 'You'd be a fool to write one of his (Mourinho's) teams off. What he's done has been incredible.[LNB] In awe: Redknapp (right) spoke of his admiration for Barcelona[LNB]'Last year, I went with Inter Milan to win the Champions League.[LNB]'I just had a feeling that he could do it.[LNB]'The final's at Wembley this year as well, so I wouldn't write Man United off.'[LNB]On his side's comfortable win, Mourinho said: 'Spurs had a couple of chances but when Cristiano scored it was all over.[LNB] 'Am I thinking about a final against Manchester United? No. I'm only thinking about the semi.'[LNB]Mourinho saw Ricardo Carvalho pick up a booking against Tottenham that ruled him out of the first leg against Barca.[LNB]The former Chelsea boss, who was punished earlier this season for ordering his players to get themselves cautioned deliberately to earn convenient suspensions, used his post-match press conference to complain about double-standards after Barcelona's Andres Iniesta picked up a convenient yellow in Barca's Champions League quarter-final first-leg win against Shakhtar Donetsk.[LNB] Banned: Ricardo Carvalho (second right) will miss the first leg against Barcelona[LNB]Mourinho said: 'To be honest, as I always am, when we scored the fourth goal against Tottenham at the Bernabeu, my assistant told me, 'Yellow card to Cristiano (Ronaldo) and to (Ricardo) Carvalho'.[LNB]'And I told him, 'No way, because, if we do it, I am suspended for the semi-finals and my players are suspended for the semi-finals'.[LNB]'The next day, we are at home. Another coach did it, another player did it.'[LNB] Tottenham yesterday stepped up their battle against the decision to hand the Olympic Stadium to West Ham after the London 2012 Games. [LNB]The club have gone to the High Court to seek a judicial review of the London Borough of Newham's involvement after the council provided a ?40million loan to finance West Ham's move.
