Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp hits out at 'stupid' timing of international friendlies

Harry Redknapp has again vented his frustration at next week's round of international friendlies, branding them 'unnecessary' and 'stupid'. [LNB]The Tottenham boss is set to lose up to 21 first-team regulars just a matter of days before Spurs kick off the Premier League season with a home opener against Manchester City. [LNB]Out of line: Redknapp is furious with FIFA's scheduling [LNB]'It is unbelievable FIFA have arranged a whole raft of international friendlies in the few days before the domestic season starts,' Redknapp told the Sun. 'It is ridiculous, stupid, unnecessary, incredible.'
