Toffees deny Pienaar Crouch swap talk
Steven Pienaar will remain at Everton this season and will not be involved in a swap deal for Peter Crouch, according to assistant Steve Round.[LNB] The South Africa midfielder, who is out of contract in the summer, has been linked with a swap deal with Tottenham's beanpole striker Crouch.[LNB]When questioned about the chances of a swap deal, Round responded: "The manager (David Moyes) has said all along he wants Steven to stay.[LNB]"He is under contract and as far as we are concerned he will be an Everton player this season.[LNB]"There is no truth in the speculation. Steven has been a terrific player for us and is a terrific asset."
