Tisdale salutes Jansson display

Exeter manager Paul Tisdale hailed the heroics of Oscar Jansson after the on-loan Tottenham goalkeeper's inspired display helped his side earn a 1-1 draw with Swindon. Trailing 1-0 to Kevin Amankwaah's header, Jansson made several fine saves to keep the Robins at bay and the Grecians were rewarded when substitute Richard Logan powered in an 87th-minute equaliser. Jansson's error contributed to Charlton beating Exeter 2-1 at the Valley on Saturday, but the Swedish Under-21 international was on top form to continually thwart Danny Wilson's side. Tisdale said: "He showed great character. He actually did very well on Saturday barring the mistake, but I am very pleased with his performance. "I thought he was outstanding. The saves he made were saves you would expect him to make, but his game was very tight. He didn't look like letting anything in, he was very organised and safe and that's what you want from your goalkeeper. "He has to be in charge of his game and he topped it all with a really brave smother. I'm delighted he is with us until the end of October."
