Marseille defender Taye Taiwo is keen on a move to Spurs, who along with Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in the left-back.[LNB] The 25-year-old Nigeria international is contracted to the French club until 2012 but is keen to leave after six years at Stade Velodrome.[LNB]Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid have had a 5million Euros bid for the player turned down, and Taiwo now wants to secure regular first-team football.[LNB]"If I stay in Marseille I want to play week in week out. I am a football player not someone to sit on the bench and get paid," he told skysports.com.[LNB]"My ambition has always been to play at the top level. Spurs are a fantastic team in the best league.[LNB]"Atletico Madrid is a very good team as well in the Champions League, so I would be interested by those two teams.[LNB]"Marseille is my team at the moment and I have a contract with them, so let's wait and see. In the next two weeks things might move on."[LNB]Taiwo was forced to settle for a place on the bench during the second half of last season after manager Didier Deschamps opted to play Gabriel Heinze in his position.
