English exile Scott Sutter would love the chance to try his luck in the Premier League one day.[LNB]England in his sights: Enfield-born Scott Sutter is Swiss through and through now [LNB]Enfield-born Sutter will firmly be in the Switzerland corner tonight as Ottmar Hitzfeld's men look to end England's revival in their Euro 2012 qualifier.[LNB]The 24-year-old moved to Switzerland eight years ago to pursue a different route to stardom and, after recovering from a major ankle injury that nearly wrecked his career, decided to pursue international honours with the country of his father's birth.[LNB]So settled is Sutter, he proudly claims Switzerland is his 'home'.[LNB]However, just like Owen Hargreaves, he would eventually welcome the chance to go back to where it all began.[LNB]'It is still a dream to play in England,' said the mad-keen Tottenham fan who played at White Hart Lane in the Champions League last month for Young Boys.[LNB]'That and Spain are the best leagues in the world. Everyone wants to play in the Premier League at some point.[LNB]'I am like every other kid growing up in England. Owen Hargreaves was in a better position than me because he was playing for Bayern Munich.[LNB]'But with Young Boys in the Europa League and a place in the Switzerland squad as well, it is a good way to present myself.'[LNB]Sutter may be restricted to a place on the bench tonight, although he has been doing his homework just in case.[LNB]The furore that has erupted around Wayne Rooney has certainly grabbed his attention.[LNB]'You read about stuff like this all the time,' said Sutter. [LNB]Rooney fears: Scott Sutter will be keeping an eye on the England striker[LNB]'It is not just Rooney but other players as well.  You just shake your head and think why? What is the reason behind it?'[LNB]The defender may never get the answer. But he does know the allegations about the Manchester United striker's private life are so serious they have the capacity to put Rooney off his game, which, whilst taking no pleasure in his opponents' plight, is something Switzerland may be able to capitalise on.[LNB]'Wayne Rooney is an amazing player,' he said. 'When he's on his game, it is hard for anyone to stop him.[LNB]'But with these things going on in his private life, it depends how mentally strong he is and whether he can put it to the back of his mind.[LNB]'Obviously, it is a distraction and maybe he will not be as totally focused on the game.[LNB]'We have to hope Wayne Rooney doesn't play as well as he can.'[LNB] I'm ready!
