Harry Redknapp has confirmed that Tottenham are still hoping to sign Joe Cole - but says a move for Everton's Steven Pienaar is unlikely.[LNB] The England international departed Chelsea at the end of last season and Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool are among the clubs linked with the player.[LNB]Redknapp has revealed Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is in talks with the midfielder's representatives and a deal could be concluded for Cole to move to White Hart Lane. [LNB]"We're interested in Joe (Cole)," Redknapp told talkSPORT. "I know Daniel (Levy) was talking to his people and we're interested. If the chairman can pull a deal off I'd love to have him at Tottenham. [LNB]"But it all comes down to if we can do a deal. I don't get involved in the financial side; the chairman can do that with Joe's people. Hopefully there is a deal that can be done because we would love him at White Hart Lane."[LNB]Tottenham have also been linked with a move for Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar but Redknapp insists the South African is unlikely to join the club.[LNB]He said: "I like Pienaar, don't get me wrong. But there is nothing there. I wouldn't see that as being a real goer."
