Tottenham appear unlikely to sign Ivory Coast star Gervinho this summer, despite keeping tabs on the Lille striker.[LNB] Spurs backroom staff duo Clive Allen and Joe Jordan were at Upton Park on Tuesday to check on Gervinho as Ivory Coast beat Italy in an international friendly.[LNB]Harry Redknapp has been looking to add some firepower to his attack and various reports in France have suggested the 23-year-old is now their number one target after failing to land Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano.[LNB]Lille are only willing to let their striker leave for around 15million euros, but the former Beveren and Le Mans forward is happy to remain at the Ligue 1 club.[LNB]Speaking to skysports.com, Gervinho said: "I am a Lille player because there is two years left on my contract.[LNB]"I've been advised by people I trust in football, to stay for one more year in the French League, next year we will see, but if there is an opportunity where everyone is happy you never know. [LNB]"Harry is a manager I like, his football is attacking and he has a good relationship with African players, so you never know."
