Tottenham seem to have beaten North London rivals Arsenal to the signing of France captain Hugo Lloris.

Talksport are claiming that a move to Arsenal was initially on the cards and a fee had been agreed between the Gunners and Lyon.

French newspaper L’Equipe however is claiming that Lloris has changed his mind about his destination after a conversation with Andre Villas-Boas, who has assured him that he’ll have more game time at White Hart Lane.

The Times are now saying that the deal will go ahead if Spurs up their initial offer by £3million to £15million.
