Aldershot Town have signed Tottenham Hotspur teenager Jack Munns on a one-month loan deal.

Munns has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Premier League club but Shots manager Dean Holdsworth believes the 18-year-old has a bright future. He told the club's official website:

"He is an attacking midfielder with an eye for goal who was recommended by [Tottenham coach] Tim Sherwood. He has a great future in the game."

Meanwhile, Shots youth product Doug Bergqvist has joined Conference South neighbours Basingstoke Town on a month's loan. The defender, who recently signed a contract extension, will be included in the squad for Saturday's trip to Weston Super Mare.
