Spurs step up Sandro interest as Redknapp plans scouting trip to Brazil

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is expected to travel to Brazil before thetransfer window opens to look at Internacional defensive-midfielder Sandro.[LNB]No laughing matter: Spurs are keen to bring in Sandro (R), who shares a joke with Brazilian team-mate Maicon earlier this month[LNB]Redknapp only has Wilson Palacios, Tom Huddlestone and Jermaine Jenas as central midfielders and views the 20-year-old, who made his Brazil debut earlier in the season, as a possibility to provide competition.[LNB]'We've only got three central midfield players,' said Redknapp.[LNB]'Jamie O'Hara went, Kevin-Prince Boateng went, Didier Zokora went.
