Spurs sell misfit Boateng to Pompey for £4m with O'Hara leaving on loan

Tottenham have agreed a deal with Portsmouth to send midfielders Kevin-Prince Boateng and Jamie O'Hara to Fratton Park. Germany Under-21 international Boateng will be the subject of a fee around £4million, while O'Hara will be allowed to move on a loan move until Christmas time. While Harry Redknapp is happy to let Boateng, signed two Tottenham managers ago by Martin Jol, leave the club, his intention with O'Hara is simply to give the England Under-21 international more Premier League experience rather than sit on the bench at White Hart Lane. Both players are 22. Redknapp said: 'It's a difficult one. Jamie is a terrific young player, a good player for us, but he needs to play games and at the moment he's not in the team.
