Spurs release Portuguese defender Rocha in summer clear-out
Tottenham have released Portuguese centre-back Ricardo Rocha after his contract expired.
The 30-year-old defender, signed by former Spurs manager Martin Jol, joined the north London club two and a half years ago but struggled to hold down a regular place and only made 18 appearances.
Reserve team players Simon Dawkins, Kyle Fraser-Allen, Cian Hughton, Danny Hutchins, David Hutton, Jacques Maghoma and Takura Mtandari have also been released by manager Harry Redknapp, along with Academy players Saulo Asajile, Mark Clare, James Dalton and Ajet Shehu who have also left White Hart Lane.
