Will not budge: Spurs will not lower their £16.5million valuation of striker Darren Bent [LNB]Tottenham will not back down from their £16.5million valuation of Sunderland target Darren Bent despite shaving £3m off Portsmouth's asking price for Peter Crouch.[LNB]Crouch is expected to complete his £9m move from Fratton Park this week even though personal terms have yet to be agreed and his £75,000-a-week package is above the wage ceiling at White Hart Lane.[LNB]Manager Harry Redknapp, however, feels a deal can be thrashed out. He said: 'I don't think what Peter's looking for is crazy money. They (Portsmouth) want to sell him, it's common knowledge they need to sell him.' Discussing Bent, Redknapp added: 'Darren is looking to go but it's up to people to make the offer we want.' [LNB]Redknapp also refused to rule out a move for Real Madrid's Klaas-JanHuntelaar if another striker, likely to be Roman Pavlyuchenko, could besold, saying: 'My interest in Huntelaar is serious. We've spoken toReal Madrid and the fee is somewhere between £15m-£17m.'[LNB] Earning his Spurs: Pompey hitman Crouch is set to complete his move to White Hart Lane this week[LNB]The deal for Crouch would represent a considerable coup for Spurs given Sunderland had agreed a £12m fee with Portsmouth, only for Crouch to say No. Bent, though, is keen on a move to the Stadium of Light, but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is determined to recoup the full amount he paid Charlton for the striker two years ago. [LNB]Redknapp, who takes his team to China on Monday for the Asia Cup, could be after a centre back after Spurs' defensive frailties were exposed by a second-string Celtic side in the Wembley Cup on Sunday. With Jonathan Woodgate, Michael Dawson and Ledley King all injured, Redknapp was forced to field a makeshift centre-back pairing of Pascal Chimbonda and Dorian Dervite. [LNB] Cup winner: Georgios Samaras netted the second goal as Celtic cruised to a 2-0 win over Spurs to win the Wembley Cup[LNB]The duo allowed Chris Killen a free header for Celtic's opener inside 10 minutes. Georgios Samaras made it 2-0 five minutes before the break after robbing 20-year-old Dervite on the halfway line. [LNB]Redknapp remains keen on Newcastle's Sebastien Bassong but the French defender's wage demands represent a considerable stumbling block. [LNB]Celtic's second victory of the weekend - they had beaten Egypt's Al Ahly on Friday - won them the Wembley Cup. Barcelona, who drew with Spurs on Friday, beat Al Ahly 4-1 earlier on Sunday. Tottenham 0 Celtic 2: Harry Redknapp's defensive woes underlined after Bhoys lossHart blames Redknapp spree after accepting £10m Spurs bid for CrouchFormer Gunner Vieira would give Spurs real presence, says RedknappTOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC
