Spurs midfielder O'Hara could be set to seal permanent switch to Pompey
Portsmouth are keen to keep Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara at Fratton Park on a permanent basis.
O'Hara's loan deal expires in January but Pompey are desperate to extend the arrangement.
Fratton Park chief executive Peter Storrie said: 'There has been nothing from Spurs that Jamie is going back in January.
'As far as we are concerned we have the option to keep Jamie until the end of the season. This can be taken up in January.
'Perhaps there will be a chance of doing something permanent, we will have to wait and see.'
O'Hara cannot play for Pompey when Harry Redknapp's side visit Fratton Park on Saturday.
