Spurs manager Harry Redknapp letting his football do the talking

Redknapp, 62, was charged yesterday, along with former Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric, who is alleged to have paid £180,850 into a Monaco bank account belonging to the Spurs manager to avoid paying income tax and national insurance.[LNB]Redknapp said: 'I really don't want to talk about it today. I've got an awful lot I'd love to say, believe you me, and when time is right I will say it.[LNB]'I've been advised really not to discuss the matter today. Really I think we've got to concentrate on tomorrow and that's the only thing that's on my mind. [LNB]'It's got no effect on me whatsoever, to be perfectly honest. I'm ready to go tomorrow and looking forward to the game and that's where we at the moment.[LNB]'My mind has not been off of football, the game is what I live for, that's what we came here today to do, to get ready for tomorrow.'[LNB]Spurs have dropped out of the top four in the Premier League following Manchester City's impressive run but Redknapp's side is looking for sixth straight clean sheet -- and fifth in the League.[LNB]'Let's hope we do another five. If we do that we'll be right in the picture. It's a big couple of weeks for us.'[LNB]Indeed, Spurs begin a spell of five games in two weeks, with a trip to Liverpool scheduled for next midweek after the visit of Hull, and Reknapp Believes Rafael Benitez will survive.[LNB]'I've never been to Liverpool and had an easy game. I don't think there's such a thing.[LNB]'When the crowd is in full voice at Liverpool there is no other place to be, they are fantastic fans.'[LNB]'Last season Rafa lost only two games, this season he's had injuries. It can all turn so quickly, he's bought Maxi Rodriques in and if he gets one or two in he's a top manager and they're a top club and they'll still be there.'[LNB]
