Spurs legend Roberts urges Redknapp to splash the cash on five new stars

Graham Roberts believes Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp needs five new players to challenge the Barclays Premier League big four.   Redknapp has spoken of bringing in just two 'very good' players during the summer but Roberts feels even with more recruits qualifying for the Champions League will still be extremely difficult.   Tottenham or Fulham will qualify for the Europa League, a remarkable achievement for Spurs who were battling relegation earlier in the season.   Roberts said: 'What Harry has done so far is fantastic. He has come in and sorted out the problems we had by first playing players in the right positions and then making some good signings in January.   'Even so, I don't think we should get carried away just because we are in good form. We are a long way off where we would all like us to be which is challenging the top four. 'We need to sign five players this summer. I think next year might be a bit too early to challenge for a Champions League spot but you never know.'
