Spurs flop Dos Santos lined up for return to Spain with Deportivo

Deportivo La Coruna boss Miguel Angel Lotina has revealed he is keen Tottenham Hotspur forward Giovani dos Santos. The Mexico international struggled with injuries and indifferent form at White Hart Lane last season after joining from Barcelona. And after playing a starring role in his country's Gold Cup glory, which Mexico won with a 5-0 demolition of the USA in the final, the 20-year-old is keen to impress next term. But Lotina would be keen to take him back to Spain if he loses Angel Lafita, who is line for a return to Zaragoza. 'I know Giovani very well,' said Lotina. 'Last year we spoke to him, but then Tottenham came in. 'As for Lafita, well, there is nothing. But if he goes then we will start with plan B. (Dos Santos) is an interesting player, but he is not the only one.'
