According to sources around the net, Liverpool and Tottenham (as well as Roma) are looking to battle it out for the signature of the latest wonderkid to surface in Brazil.

Lucas Rodrigues Moura da Silva only 19 is the latest face to be touted for super stardom, already a regular in the Sao Paulo 1st team and now part of the Brazil national team he looks set to follow his countryman Neymar (who is expected to make a big money move to Real Madrid).

Both Harry Redknapp and Kenny Dalglish have been keeping tabs on the talented midfielders development and reports are suggesting that the same scouts who brought Lucas Lieva to Anfield would be involved in any negotiations should that happen.

There is a hefty price tag thought to be in the region of £20million surrounding Lucas but both clubs could start the process of securing a move for the player in January.
