Andre Villas-Boas looks set to be named as the new manager of Tottenham, Press Association Sport understands.
The former Chelsea boss is on the brink of joining the north Londoners as successor to Harry Redknapp, who left the post last month.
Negotiations between Villas-Boas and Spurs are understood to be progressing well and he could sign a deal at White Hart Lane as early as Tuesday.
