Spurs chase Barcelona's Bojan Krkic

According to reports, Tottenham are the latest club to join the hunt for Krkic despite the fact that the Spaniard has rarely featured this season. Lyon, Ajax and Inter Milan have already expressed an interest on signing him on a full-time basis although his buy-out clause at Barcelona is believed to be around £71 million. Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has largely kept his young striker to Copa del Rey games this season, but he has a bright future at the Nou Camp and any attempts from Europe's biggest clubs look likely to be stemmed. Last month, Krkic expressed his happiness at the club despite a lack of starting opportunites at Barcelona. "When the forward players needed a change, it was my turn to come on, and perhaps in that sense, there has not been so much pressure this year," he said. "[Coach Pep Guardiola] is sticking by me and with the minutes that he gives me, is showing confidence in me."
