Spurs can have a big say - Redknapp

oss Harry Redknapp is relishing Tottenham's role as key players in the title race - even if Champions League qualification is his own target.[LNB] Redknapp's men effectively knocked Arsenal out of the running by defeating them in midweek and they can do Manchester United a favour by doing the same to Chelsea this evening.[LNB]Spurs need United to also beat Manchester City earlier in the day to give them hope of finishing in the top four themselves.[LNB]"We've got a great chance of trying to finish fourth," Redknapp said. "We've beaten Arsenal and we can have a big say with Chelsea, for sure. If we can knock them over and if Manchester United have won, it opens the whole thing up again.[LNB]"If Manchester United win they're back in the race, and then we've got them next week.[LNB]"But they still need to beat Manchester City, and it's vital for us that they do."[LNB]Redknapp has huge injury problems, with Niko Kranjcar, Jermaine Jenas, Aaron Lennon and Vedran Corluka out through injury and Wilson Palacios suspended.[LNB]At least Redknapp can rely on the stamina of Gareth Bale, with stats showing the Wales youngster sprinting more than 1,000 metres against Portsmouth at Wembley last week.[LNB]"I think he broke the world record for the ground covered at Wembley," said Redknapp.[LNB]"On pro-zone it was amazing, the amount of ground he covered. Avram (Grant, Portsmouth manager) had the stats and he couldn't believe the distance he covered."[LNB]Unfortunately for Spurs, Kranjcar is set to miss the rest of the season with the ankle injury sustained against Pompey.[LNB]"He's seeing a specialist on Monday," Redknapp said. "He's torn ligaments and it's a bit of a mess really, but how he played I don't know.[LNB]"He was in absolute agony at the end. He played on and he stuck at it. And Charlie (Corluka) was the same. He had an injection in his ankle he was in so much pain but we had no-one else."
