Harry Redknapp has told David Bentley leave Tottenham at the end of the season.

Bentley (right) arrived at White Hart Lane for £15million last summer but the former Blackburn midfielder has not played since a 1-1 draw against Sunderland at the start of March.

Aaron Lennon and Luka Modric are ahead of Bentley in the pecking order and Redknapp said: 'It has been tough for David. He has worked hard but Aaron has been in terrific form.

'David wants to play. He is a terrific talent but Aaron and Luka Modric have been in superb form.'
