Spurs boss Harry Redknapp sets sights on £10m Chelsea star Joe Cole
Harry Redknapp hopes to use the promise of regular football to persuade Chelsea's Joe Cole to sign for Tottenham.
The Spurs boss has launched a £10million bid for the midfielder who has less than a year left on his current deal at Stamford Bridge, according to the Daily Mirror.
Redknapp is a big admirer of England star Cole after giving him his debut at West Ham and would love to take him to White Hart Lane.
New Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti does not want to lose Cole but the Italian's system could see the 27-year-old used sparingly.
And Redknapp hopes to use this to his advantage with the World Cup less than a year away and Cole facing a fight for his England place.
