Sevilla expect to complete the signing of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Didier Zokora. The Spanish club have reportedly already agreed a four-year contract with the 28-year-old and are close to agreeing a fee for the Ivory Coast international. The deal has been in stalemate, with the two sides some distance apart in their valuation. Sevilla initially offered £6m, but Spurs were looking for almost double. Birmingham had also shown interest, but Zokora is keen to move to Spain and a £7.75m compromise is expected. Sevilla president Jose Maria Del Nido reportedly with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy yesterday and later said: 'I have confidence in finding a solution to this subject in a few days because the situation has changed since the first meeting.'
