Young defender Adam Smith insists that he is willing to leave Tottenham on a permanent basis in order to earn regular first-team football.[LNB] The 20-year-old was virtually an ever-present for Bournemouth last season during a season-long loan stint on the South Coast and was offered a contract to return permanently at the end of the season.[LNB]The England Under-20 international opted to sign a new contract extension at White Hart Lane instead, but feels his future may still lie away from the Premier League outfit.[LNB]"Obviously, the transfer window is still open and you never know what is around the corner in football," Smith said.[LNB]"I still could move elsewhere permanently, but if I end up staying at Tottenham then I'll just have to go out on loan again.[LNB]"There are still a few clubs sniffing around, but whether they come in with an offer or not I'll have to wait and see."[LNB]Having impressed for the Cherries last season, League One outfit Charlton have been heavily linked with a permanent move for the attacking right-back and Smith hasn't ruled out a return to third-tier next season.[LNB]"It would be nice, if I stayed with Tottenham, to go out on loan to a Championship team because I did League One last season, but it all depends what opportunities come my way," he added.[LNB]"I don't want to go on loan to a Championship and spend most of my time on the bench.[LNB]"Wherever I go I want to be playing regularly and if that is at a League One club then so be it."
