Skiverton thrilled with his charges

Terry Skiverton praised his Yeovil side's work rate as the Glovers boosted their survival prospects with a 2-0 victory over Millwall on Friday. A third goal in successive home games for Spurs loanee Jon Obika after 40 minutes and a Gavin Tomlin drive five minutes after the break was enough for the home side to prevail and move seven points clear of the drop zone. The result ended Millwall's six-match winning run away from home and player-boss Skiverton was thrilled to tame the Lions."We stuck to our game plan and it worked," he said. "Gavin Tomlin played a little bit deeper because we knew Millwall were going to come at us."He had an excellent game and got a richly deserved goal himself. He really works for the team and he has made Jon Obika a little more dangerous by playing in that role."Millwall have been on such a good run that you have got to be solid at the back and we were. We limited them to a few chances and created three or four ourselves."
