Second place is still a possibility for Spurs

So after the win at the weekend the question is still to be asked, Can Spurs still catch Man City?

On a realistic note most people, me included would say no its not going to happen, but then again why can't it happen.

Spurs need wins against Chelsea and Man City to clinch second place and also a few other good results along the way and surely they are in with a very good shout of achieving that position.

If people had said to me Spurs were in with a chance of achieving second I would of laughed and said no way, with the type of season Spurs have had should second be the goal or is it still just a case of lets aim for the top four.

I'm hoping AVB goes for it and thinks second, why not, we can do it .... and doesn't decide to just sit back and hope for top four finish.

I was pleased with the way spurs played against Swansea, they attacked from start to finish which is a vast improvement from the sit back and defend attitude which didn't work so well against Inter and a few other teams who exploited the weakness of Spurs's defending over the last few weeks.

So come on AVB and Spurs go for second and let's take away the worry of qualifying for the champions league.
