Holding midfielder: Internacional's Sandro[LNB]Brazil midfielder Sandro has announced that his proposed transfer to Tottenham has collapsed.[LNB]Harry Redknapp made a £6.5million move for the Internacional star during the winter transfer window and looked to have got his man after personal terms were agreed.[LNB]But the move never materialised as his club wanted to keep him for their campaign in the Copa Libertadores - South America's equivalent of the Champions League.[LNB]And while Sandro, 20, admits it is possible the deal could be revived during the summer, the transfer is now firmly off and he does not want to be distracted by further speculation.[LNB] 'There were negotiations between Internacional and Tottenham and I did not want to talk about it,' he told FinalSports. [LNB]'Today, I am an Inter player and it gets kind of boring talking about another team and a possible transfer to another league. [LNB]'Of course, there is a possibility that I will leave in the middleof the year but I do not know how things are with Inter and Tottenham. [LNB]'What matters now, is the window is closed and I'm here at Internacional.[LNB] [LNB]  'I am not thinking about what will happen in six months. I have tothink about today. And today, for me, is Internacional.[LNB]'I do not knowany more and I think this story has to die for me. So I can be thinking100 per cent about here at Inter. [LNB]'To me, the story about Tottenham has died. So, let's talk again inthe middle of the year if it will ever happen. I cannot be thinking'Tottenham, in six months'. [LNB]'I cannot do that because it can lower my level of performance and they wouldn't want me anymore.'[LNB]The holding midfielder made his Brazil debut during a World Cup qualifier last September and is seen as a potential long-term successor to former Arsenal star and World Cup-winner Gilberto Silva in the position.  [LNB] Sandro agrees £6.5m move to Spurs but Brazilians try to delay doing dealLet me go, Harry: Misfit Pavlyuchenko opens his heart in bid to seal Spurs exitLEO'S LONDON: Arsenal face heartfelt blow if Spurs pip them to thirdTOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC
