Russian trial for Appiah

Stephen Appiah has linked up with Russian side Rubin Kazan on trial.[LNB] The Ghana skipper, who has been training at Tottenham, is looking for a new club after leaving Fenerbahce in acrimonious circumstances last year.[LNB]Appiah left the Turkish club after a row over his fitness following a serious knee injury.[LNB]The 28-year-old was hoping to win a move to Tottenham after pitching up at White Hart Lane last month, but it appears Harry Redknapp has decided not to pursue his interest in the midfielder.[LNB]Appiah admits he would be interested in a move to Russia as he looks to get his career back on track.[LNB]"I am feeling better at the moment, I need to practice more," Appiah told skysports.com.[LNB]"Hopefully I will get a move as soon as possible, but to play in Russia will be good.[LNB]
