The Football Association are ready to hand Roy Hodgson the vacant England manager position because he is ?13m cheaper than the fans' favourite Harry Redknapp.[LNB]The move to secure Hodgson, 64, in time for this summer's European Championship will surprise many in the English game as Tottenham manager Redknapp had been tipped as top of the FA's wish-list.[LNB]Hodgson, who arrived at Wembley Stadium today for talks with the FA, is expected to demand a ?2m a year contract, while any deal for Tottenham boss Redknapp was rumoured to cost in excess of ?15m.[LNB]Scroll down for video
