Roman Pavyluchenko ruled out of Russia's trip to Dublin with ankle injury

Roman Pavlyuchenko is out of Russia's Euro 2012 qualifier against the Republic of Ireland in Dublin on Friday night.

The Tottenham Hotspur striker was substituted at half-time in his side's win over Aston Villa on Saturday with an ankle injury.

Russia's coach, Dick Advocaat, said: 'Last night we made a decisionthat Pavlyuchenko will not travel with the squad to Dublin and Skopje.'

The Zenit St Petersburg forward Alexander Bukharov will replace him.

Midfield pair Damien Duff and Keith Andrews will again be missingfor Ireland who are looking to build on their 100 per cent start to theEuroepean Championship campaign when they meet group favourites Russiain Dublin before travelling to Slovakia next week.
