Roma director Walter Sabatini claims the Serie A giants are doing all they can to keep hold of Tottenham and Blackburn target Mirko Vucinic.[LNB] The Montenegro international striker fuelled speculation of a summer departure recently when he complained about his poor relationship with the Giallorossi fans.[LNB]Vucinic's comments were taken to mean that he will soon be trying his luck elsewhere, with there no shortage of interest in his services.[LNB]Premier League pair Spurs and Rovers are reported to be keen, while Juventus are known to be long-standing admirers of his talent.[LNB]Roma, though, are hoping the 27-year-old can be persuaded to stay put and claim reports suggesting transfer talks have already been opened are wide of the mark.[LNB]"The negotiations with Juventus do not exist, so it's impossible to tell you any more about that," Sabatini told Sky Sport Italia.[LNB]"We don't want to sell Vucinic. Of course, we'll have to see what he wants to do."[LNB]Roma are hoping Vucinic will line up alongside new signing Erik Lamela next season, with the promising Argentine midfielder all set to complete a move from River Plate.[LNB]On Lamela's imminent arrival in a deal worth 20million euros (£17.8million), Sabatini said: "I'd say the negotiations for Lamela are closed. There are some marginal details, but the deal is in place.[LNB]"It is an important sum, but I think he's worth the money, because Lamela is a young player who is already at a high level and has a bright future ahead of him."
